What you need to know before your trail

If everyone, Doctors and family members think you’re in a coma and unlikely to ever wake up, chances are you might not have long left. It’s up to you to warn them that you’re still alive and that you want someone to listen?

The hour for  withdrawing life support ticks by and your girlfriend comes to visit

But soon you begin to suspect that the accident that put you here wasn’t really an accident. Even worse, the perpetrator is still out there and you’re not the only one in danger.

But how do you communicate when you’re trapped inside your own body?

Travel Guide

Bristol

This book doesn’t have a booktrail as such as most of the ‘action’ takes place inside the victim’s head. This is a very claustrophic place to be and when you’re vulnerable and lying in a coma even more so. Imagine lying in a hospital bed and being able to hear people talk about you, talk about you and the possivility of turning off your life support machine. What would you feel like and how would you try to react? How do you try and summon help when you’re trapped inside your own body?

Despite the claustrophobic world, there are signs of another world. A world where climbing and seeing the stunning local scenery and caves are worth exploring. Where the challenges of climbing mountains, and trekking for miles in wild terrain are activities which keep people fit and active. So when a seasoned climber then lies in a coma, the contrast of these two very different worlds is clear. You might fight against the elements and the challenges of nature but what happens when you have to fight yourself?

There is mention of the caves and gorges in and around Bristol plus the Padirac Gorge in France and El Cap, Wareapap, Meteora and Les Calanque incase you’re tempted to climb one of them yourself !
