Dr Sylvia Greene makes a wish at the Tarrin’s Bay Wishing Festival, and smiles to herself. This is not the kind of thing she ever does, least of all believes in.
Barely a week later, her life changes for ever when the daughter she gave up for adoption at sixteen arrives in her coastal town. Soon Sylvia’s well ordered life is thrown into chaos.
