On return from a trip around the world, TV presenter, Ava Whittaker, has a baby by Matthias de Romero, Argentine Tango champion, hacienda owner, and the man she loves. The problem? He doesn’t know.
Fast forward two years, and Ava reluctantly agrees to be a contestant on a new dance show on TV, but to her shock, Matthias – the man she never expected to see again – is one of the judges.
Matthias de Romero is leaving his beloved stallions in Argentina to assuage his pride. Two years previously, the one woman he thought he could care for walked out on him after just one glorious night. He arrives in London ready for revenge.
Will Ava’s secret cause their intense feelings to burn out, or fan further the flames of love?
The well run ranch lies in the shadow of Aconcagua Mountains and the view is something which provides the characters much solace. The horses, one of which is called Shadow, seem to be a joy to work with. Shadow is a three year old stallion with no care for having a saddle on his back at first.
The Argentine Tango -” He paused for effect. “-is a result of the diversity of dance and music generated by the influx of immigrants into Argentina. The Tango evolved were freed and working slaves came together to dance. There is passion”
A key element to the tango is the yearning of men who shipped to Argentina for their women left at home. Desperate longing and sexual innuendo combined to make the dance a fiercely passionate and truthful one”
Now living in Fulham, she doesn’t want her daughter to live and grow up in a city and get street wise before her time. She goes to an audition at the at the National Television CorporationHalls
She spends time here contemplating her life and future. They might appear bleak and unyeilding to her at that time, but they’re a haven for rest and relaxation in reality and Ava seems to need plenty of this
