Vivian Miller is a CIA analyst assigned to uncover Russian sleeper cells in the USA. After accessing the computer of a potential Russian spy, she stumbles on a secret dossier of deep-cover agents living in her own country. Five seemingly normal people living in plain sight.

A few clicks later, everything that matters to Vivian is threatened – her job, her husband, even her four children . . .

Vivian has vowed to defend her country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. But now she’s facing impossible choices. Torn between loyalty and betrayal, allegiance and treason, love and suspicion, who can she trust?

Will her next move be the right one?

Travel Guide

Washington DC

This book is firmly located in the web ofNeedtoKnowNeedtoKnow
intrigue formulated by the work of a CIA operative. Faces on screens, sleeper cells, secrets too close to home and the truth that is in plain sight yet unseen.

The author spent eight years as a CIA analyst focusing on counter terrorism and working briefly on rotation to the FBI, so you know the ins and outs of what you are reading are either true or could be true. That heightens the stakes of what is already a high paced thriller with a unique premise and twists.

It brings home the complicated work of the Intelligence Agencies and what dangers lie within, beneath and right in front of them.

Booktrailer Review

What on earth just happened?

I trust no one after reading this book

Firmly set in the world of the FBI, CIA etc, there are no real locations apart from the web of intrigue…

Now I know how trapped spiders feel. And there’s barely anything I can reveal which won’t spoil your enjoyment of the book. Apt when you think of the novel’s premise and setting..

Brilliantly clever, quick, heart inducing, unique plot then a car explosion of an ending.

One star taken off for a thread I found strange compared to rest of book but apart from that..

Wiped out now. Need to take stock. This review will probably self destruct in ten seconds…….
