Travel Guide

Welcome to the world of the Chipchase circus
The bigger the danger, the bigger the crowd
Smells of horse sweat and gingerbread filled the air, There was music to, the organ and drums all fast and furious, signaling the show was about to start. It was the bit of circus life I loved best, that moment before the action, when the very air tingled.
This book conjures up the magic and excitement of  a circus, the danger of the various acts, the somersaults, the trapeze artists, the smell of the sawdust…

And a girl who was brought up in the circus, abandoned as a baby but who has the essence of the circus in her blood.

Niagara Falls

There have been many death defying stunts at the most famous waterfall in the world!

October 24th 1901 – Annie Taylor was the first person to conquer the falls in a barrel.

July 25th 1911 – Bobby Leach plunged over the Falls in a steel barrel. He survived but broke both kneecaps and his jaw during his daring event. However that’s not what eventually killed him – it was the complications from a fall on an orange peel much later on!
