What you need to know before your trail

Inside a Los Angeles church, on the altar steps, lies the blood-soaked body of a priest.

At first, Detective Robert Hunter believes that this is a ritualistic killing. But as more bodies surface, he begins to think very differently. All the victims died in the way they feared the most.

Hunter finds himself on the trail of an elusive and sadistic killer, someone who apparently has the power to read his victims’ minds.

Travel Guide

Travel BookTrail style to Los Angeles

With horrific murder scenes in this book from the start, there’s not really many places we can put on the map OR suggest you visit to be fair. However, there are a few nice, real places mentioned in the book which you should indeed walk around the Los Angeles street to find. Maybe you’ll realise that the Los Angeles in real life isn’t like the one in the book thank goodness!

There are several churches and places of religion in the novel but for obvious reasons they are fictional. As are the real estate and financial offices locations

The Redwood Bar and Grill

The police officers’ local. It’s also a unique downtown institution offering pub grub and live music in a sunken pirate ship setting.

The Union Street Station

“Some say Los Angeles Union Station is America’s last great railway station. Built in 1939 to consolidate passenger terminals from three different railways, the station still serves as a transit hub. Through its exterior is a successful merging of Spanish Mission, Moorish and Streamline Modern architecture styles, Los Angeles Union Station is best enjoyed from inside. It’s been carefully renovated , with original light fixtures, inlaid stone floors and tiled walls”

LA nightlife

“Los Angeles has one of the liveliest and most exciting nightlifes in the world. From Luxurious and trendy clubs where A-list celebrities hang out, to dingy and sleazy underground venues. There are themed bars and lounges scattered all over the city. You can have a drink in a hospital war where cocktail waitresses run around in skin-tight black nurses’ uniforms.”
