It is also about the special time between grandfather and granddaughter and how they see the world through each other’s eyes.

Prince Edward Island is called Île-du-Prince-Édouard in French and is a province of Canada consisting of the island of the same name, and several much smaller islands.
It’s one of the threeMaritime Provinces and is the smallest province in both land area and population. The capital is Charlottetown.
The island produces 25% of Canada’s potatoes. The island has several informal names: “Garden of the Gulf”, “Birthplace of Confederation” or “Cradle of Confederation”Many children and adults alike however know it as the home of Anne of Green Gables!
