What you need to know before your trail

In a cosy corner of Paris, a delicious little patisserie is just waiting to be discovered. And romance might just be on the menu…

As the youngest of four, Nina Hadley has always had her big brothers telling her what to do. So, when she’s given the chance to move to Paris and help run a patisserie course, she can’t say au revoir quick enough!

There’s just one problem: high-flying chef Sebastian Finlay is the owner of the patisserie. He’s also her brother Nick’s best friend – and the man she has secretly been in love with since forever.

Amongst the mouth-wateringly delicious eclairs and delicate macaroons, Nina’s culinary creations aren’t the only tempting thing she’s working with…

Travel Guide

Patisseries in Paris

If this book doesn’t make you drool immediately, crave cake and want to take the next flight out to Paris, then why not?

When you get to the city of Lights and cake, there are more than enough Patisseries to get through. A few recommended:

If you love macaroons – the most famous patisserie is LaDuree – they have these little tastes of heaven in every colour and flavour you can imagine!

If you want to visit one with a really nice shop frontage for a nice pic of your cake and the store – the one simply named Patisserie on Rue des Rennes is a must see!

And finally, (well not really but there are thousands of patisseries in Paris that you need to seek out for yourself), if you think that the cake shop is a place of dreams – the Patisserie des Reves is a must visit

Booktrailer Review

Susan @thebooktrailer

This book is quite dangerous. There is a bubbling romance, a grumpy man who doesn’t rate love and CAKE and PARIS! In fact the ingredients of the book are just as nice as the cakes inside it. And the recipe for a very tasty reading session. You will however crave cake and even end up eating tons of the stuff as this book is very tempting in that regard.

It’s a nice cosy read too which will make you smile and want to twirl around a lamppost in a Paris street. The setting is used to fantastic use with the author capturing the magic of the city’s streets, its essence and of course those cake shops. Nina and Sebastian were great characters but of course the road to true love is not smooth and that’s the fun part.

A nice read which warms the cockles of your heart and fills up your belly with comforting food and thoughts.
