BookTrail Travels with Books in July

  • Submitted: 30th June 2019

If you thought June was good for books and exciting locations, then the month of July is going to get VERY exciting indeed. There are some very exciting books and thrillers coming out. Too many to mention here , but here is a BookTrail round up of some ones to watch:

The Spanish Promise by Karen Swan

This, from the pen of Karen Swan is set in both the modern day and the Spanish Civil War. The richest man in Spain hasn’t got long left to live and he’s leaving his legacy to someone his family have never heard of. A woman goes in search of the truth and ends up uncovering something so life changing that it’s a shock to everyone.

The Holiday by T M Logan

A closed room kind of thriller. Several friends go to a French villa in the mountains of Provence. A nice break away and to celebrate the 40th birthday of one of them, right? Except for one, Kate, she suspects her husband of an affair and is convinced one of the women there is who she is cheating with. The search for the truth however is not going to be straight forward. Is she going mad? Someone in the villa is going to do whatever it takes to keep those secrets hidden…

Lock Every Door by Riley Sager

This might just be set in one building in New York (fictional at that) but it’s a humdinger of a novel and thriller. If the sun’s out in July, this is going to cool you down and chill you real good! A woman goes to apartment sit, but finds that the rules are bizarre (no guests, no talking to residents…) but the money is so good, she takes it. There is someone else in the block doing the same. But strange things start to happen, the  apartment guests are acting strangely and who else has a key to the door?

Read in daylight hours!
