2000s: Book 3 of the Forbidden Spaces Trilogy
A group of story-tellers are disappearing one by one.
A young woman is haunted by her past.
A serial killer has one target he is desperate to hunt down.
Veerle is trying to lie low, to live as ‘normal’ a life as she possibly can. But when you’ve thwarted a serial killer, it’s hard to do this. Especially when he wants revenge . . .
In this novel, Veerle is back in her home town after a year in Ghent (book two) She’s set on retaking her final year of secondary school at her old school but she is not the same girl she was in book one!
Given the title there are a lot of Belgian urban legends in the novel and whilst this is set in Brussels and Tervuren, there are a few to investigate if ou take this book on location!
Brussels is especially gothic with its cobbled streets and grand old buildings so it’s very fitting to read this book there!
