Timothy the lion cub mysteriously loses his voice two days before the roaring competition, an so begins the search for his lost roar. Along the way he befriends a lizard, a crocodile, several water snakes, a monkey and a bat lady who tells him that his voice is still inside him, only resting.
There are lions in both Asia and Africa. Asiatic lions live in India’s Gir Forest; African lions live in central and southern Africa.
Lions live in Africa south of the Sahara and in Northwest India. They don’t actually live in the jungle but love to roam on the open savanna where they hunt gazelles, antelope, and zebra. They often gang up together to catch larger mammals such as buffalo, giraffes and even crocodiles.
Lions roar to scare any approaching prey towards the younger lions, so they can attack. Younger lions do not waste their time roaring, they only attack. …
