The city is a larger than life backdrop to this thriller. Most of the action takes place inside the courtroom and it’s a compelling read. Legal wrangling, jury deliberations, lawyers presiding over cases. It’s hot, thrilling and you’re in the heart of the jury. What they think, what they say, how they consider the evidence…
The other setting is of course the scene of the crime and the Mayor’s office since the murdered man used to work there. This case has consequences which run right to the top of the city’s infrastructure.
New York seen through the eyes of a jury whose eyes are firmly fixed on those of the two sisters….
