Oxford roads take you along towards The Pact
The city of Oxford features as an interesting backdrop. The roads, namely A329 and A40 are roads that take the reader and the characters along the twisty back streets around the city where certain memories were made…
The city and colleges provide history and a connection between the characters. Magdalen College was inspired to become All Souls College in the novel. There is no connection between the colleges in real life however.
