The lakes is a location here as the family move here for a fresh start. It’s the ideal place for a fresh start. Thistlewaite is the village mentioned but this is fictional. To be fair, the novel is about love, health and thelove between a son and his father.
Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome is a rare congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is severely underdeveloped. This book looks into that and the emotional side of it on the young person who has it and the family and friends around them.
