When Catherine’s teenage daughter, Emily, goes missing after a party, it shakes their world to its core. Everyone looks to their children – or each other’s – for someone to blame.

Galveston Island is a barrier island on the Texas Gulf Coast in the United States, about 50 miles southeast of Houston. The entire island, with the exception of Jamaica Beach, is within the city limits of the City of Galveston in Galveston County. Theres some 30 miles of beaches.
The small town and island make for a claustrophobic read. Life in small town Galveston might sound picture perfect but the truth is far from ideal.
