The values and friendship of these people are just a joy to read and sometimes there are lines which make you feel like giving the person that says it, a high five. Speaking of the larger lady:
“Traditional Botswana men like ladies who are more traditionally shaped. You and I, Mma. We remind men of how things used to be in Botswana before these modern-shaped ladies started to get men all confused.”
Well Precious and co should spread messages like this across the world as wouldn’t it be nice for everyone to think like this and for life to be as nice as it is in Precious and co’s community.
Quiet wisdom and gentle cosy humour, the landscape is seen through the eyes of those who live and work amongst the acacia trees, the desert grit, the large Botswana sky and the colourful dress of Precious and her friends. Sit with them under a tree, with a cup of bush tea in your hand and feel you’re right at home in Botswana.
