Although the book is set in London among the Nigerian community, there are little to no locations in the novel. This is not a novel with a sense of place although it is typical of a big city such as London with a community within it, who hang out together due to their heritage or cultural experience.
The Nigerian diaspora in London is called ‘Little Lagos’ and encompasses Queens Road, Rye Lane and Peckham High Street to St George’s way.
