Have you ever wondered how the Loch Ness Monster came to be?
Once upon a time a little girl by the name of Katerina-Elizabeth was on her way from America to Scotland when the only way she could avoid eating her most hated food of oatmeal was by throwing it over the edge. Well just suppose a little worm swimming in the sea below got a taste for that oatmeal and decided to eat it all up. Now just suppose the little worm grew hearty on such a diet and did not stop growing until he was a very very big worm that one day would become famous.
If you follow the food part of the trail especially, there is a foody introduction to the gems of Scotland such as Oatmeal and haggis which do get somewhat of a bad rap in this book. It might not make a monster out of you but if you have a monster appetite, it will fill you up.
In order to visit the land where the Nessie now still lives, the main areas to spot him are in and around the area of Drumnadrochit. The best place however is to spot a monster by the lakeside of Loch Ness and since it’s 23 miles long, there’s plenty of space for everyone.
How does a worm turn into a loch ness monster. Hey, if you go to Loch Ness and see such a worm , don’t feel it oatmeal or goodness knows what might happen.
