Hermes is the man from Athens who comes to investigate one of the seven deadly sins and his arrival in Kalmata is to deal with that of gluttony.
All of the clues to the mystery are woven into the fabric of Greek village life. Hermes is of course the Greek God like figure who comes to dole out justice and to visit the people

Dendra is a place with a lot of history too:

The entire landscape is one of rocky hillsides, hight mountains, gusting winds and settlements connected by a sparse network of roads.
Of course there’s the food too:
Aubergine pilaf, made in a tapsi, rice flavoured with cloves and a loaf of cheese bread.
