What you need to know before your trail

Laura has just inherited her Uncle Jim’s seaside shop in Queensland so she decides to head out there to see the shells and coral for herself.  She meets Beth who works in the shop selling jewelry

As soon as she arrives in Port Duncan however, she comes across two rather interesting men. Nat is a farmer and Kyle is a property tycoon of sorts. Two very different men who catch her eye for very different reasons.

She has come to see a shop and to decide what to do with it, but the decisions she has to make whilst there could really shake things up! this is going to be one holiday she really won’t forget in a hurry.

Travel Guide

Port Duncan appears to be fictional but there is a little port town called Douglas up on the coast not from from Cairns so we place it about there. The similarities are there from the holiday feel to the scuba diving and the coral in the cove. The beaches too and the laid back feel to life here.

Imagine having a shop here! And making handmade jewellry for the tourists that hold the essence of the Australian lifestyle here. Of course there’s the heat and the creepy crawlies to contend with as in the book but that;s just part of the experience!

Life is laid back here and it’s a new style of living that Laura could well get used to. It’s different to what she knows but the whole port town and the Australian attitude, not to mention the trinkets and promise of the shop will make want to go and find Port Duncan for yourself!
