When the Nazis occupied Paris, no Jew was safe from arrest and deportation. Few Parisians were willing to risk their own lives to help.
However many Jews found refuge in an unlikely place – A muslim place of Worship – the Grand Mosque of Paris. This centre for Muslim people to pray, eat, play and work together suddenly becomes a haven for those of another faith who need help in the most horrific of circumstances.
