Quite apt then that Cara works in an art gallery and so her view of Cornwall is atmospheric and artistic. One day fate walks in the door, admires the art work and buys driftwood frames, the Cornish link is made and Porthleven is placed firmly on the map

St. Michael’s Mount – a place that Cara knows well and one where she’s captured on a painting. Her parents live practically facing it, which has obviously made quite an impression on her
Lizard Peninsula – Such a vast area but one of the most beautiful in Cornwall and where you can imagine the scenery as painted on the cover of the book itself!
