These fictional villages such as Westfield sound so nice that they really should be built if only for the purposes of having men like Ben live there and women like Amanda. There’s the resident gossip of course, what village would be complete without it?
There are so many villages in and around Yorkshire where this book could be set. The author herself lives in Wakefield so we’ve put pins in the map here. But we actually think we’ve been to the perfect street on Harrogate where the chic boutique could be. And there are already some very similar shops there?
