2000s: The underground secrets of a Midwest town…
Private Investigator Mark Novak is still mourning his wife’s death and his erratic behaviour is seeping into his work. His employers Innocence Incorporated send him to the back of beyond where they assume he can’t do any damage – it’s the dead-end case of a young girl whose body was found in the cave system below Garrison. What’s more, her rescuer is still believed to be the man who killed her.
A small Midwest town such as Garrison does tend to have its own set of secrets – some harder to crack than others. But someone knows the caverns better than most. And he seems to know Mark too.
“The flat fields around Indianapolis had fit with his vision of the state but these forested hills did not. He’s been on the road for two hours before he reached Garrison and rolled into the downtown square – which was literally a square, with a courthouse at the center and storefronts on the sides facing it, like a Hollywood set for a middle-American small town.”
Te underground Trapdoor caverns in Garrison sound like just the place you would want to explore; Now, as this is fictional – you might want to consider the Indiana Cave Trail
