What you need to know before your trail

Lily Beaumont and her husband Jack are owners of a genuine Victorian tavern, situated on one of Belfast’s few remaining narrow cobbled streets. It’s a favourite among the locals who love the quiet atmosphere, good beer and simple food.

One day, Dublin-based developer Vincent Halloran arrives with big plans for Maple Street. The other traders are keen to sell up and retire, but Jack and Lily aren’t ready to call ‘time, please’ on their beloved tavern.

Instead Lily hires four pretty barmaids to bring in the customers. Will this be the answer to their prayers or will a secret yet to be discovered redefine the meaning everything they have ever loved.

Travel Guide

Belfast and the fictional Maple Terrace

“The original name of the tavern on Maple Street had been lost to memory for many years. The owners were Jack Beaumont and his hauntingly beautiful wife, Lily, and they had lived there happily for nearly twenty years.”

“The tavern was situated right in the heart of Belfast, down at the end of a narrow cobbled alley off Royal Avenue.”

The tavern was a small bar by city centre standards…weather beaten carvings, a row of 8 mahogany booths and a bar counter, clusters of small round tables and chairs and wooden beams..
