Sally is a struggling stay at home looking after her two children Chloe and Theo. Things are hard as she’s practically raising them alone.Husband Matthew doesn’t help out much as he’s always working.
One night Sally goes to bed but wakes up on a cliff 300 miles away from home with a suicide note in her pocket. How on earth did that happen and how did she get there? How did she manage to get in a taxi?
Sally’s mother-in-law is a child psychiatrist and so takes a look at the situation. The family decide to keep her at home and keep an eye on her. But Sally feels as if she’s not imagining things and as the fog clears, another one descends…
From Kent to Cornwall in a taxi
This is not a booktrail book for the journey here is clearly inside the issues of a family on the brink, possible mental health issues and a complex situation. But the intrigue starts with a taxi ride from Kent to Cornwall where the female passenger has no recollection of how or why she got into that taxi and why she has the £400 to pay the driver. What’s worse however is the fact that she is also carrying a suicide note in her pocket. Again something she has no memory of.
Kent to Cornwall is a nice drive normally albeit a really long one. Not advised in a taxi!
