A story with a mix of murder, treachery and payback in a sinister plot with resonances of 1940s pulp fiction and film noir.
Driver is famous for his professionalism and his ability to drive like his life depends on it, which it often does to be fair. He drives and doesn’t ask any questions.
Drivers early stunt days on the movie-sets sounds exciting and fresh. What would it be like to be a stunt driver in the movies. How exciting would that be? at night, he drives and does other ‘jobs’ where he is in danger every minute of every day. Utah with its dusty roads which seem to go on and on for ever likes snakes in the grass turning and twisting with no end in sight…..the ride of your life!
The booktrail above shows the movie locations so most are in LA but just drive along the roads of Arizona in an open top car if you can to really get a feel for the landscape and those never ending roads.
