As soon as she disappears Ellen starts living in a nightmare.
The city of of Fahlenberg and the town Ulfingen are fictional as because of the nature of this book, fictional names as you will see, are the only way possible.
A real town but majorly adapted and altered to suit the author and the themes of this book.
The Sallinger Hof legend is based on a real story but the facts and details have been changed as have names of course. Needless to say there is no such clinic as portrayed in the novel
