The novel is set in Norfolk and London but the scene setting is not strong. The heart of a very dysfunctional family is though. But if you’re in Norfolk and fancy exploring the marshes for yourself there are many places to do it.
There’s not much of a stable situation in London either where the rest of this novel is set. From Norfolk to London, not a strong sense of place but the setting of unstable life wherever you might be.
