A fictional setting and city but a story which could happen anywhere there’s a child interested in music.
This book series has no real locations but is important as it’s a story about young girls doing what they want to do an playing the music they want to play. There are competitions like Battle of the Bands all over America and indeed other countries to try and encourage children, especially girls, to play and be in a real band.
For children who love music, there are a few iconic places in New York that could really inspire someone of any age. The author herself hails from Chicago so this city too is on the musical map.
