What you need to know before your trail

Christmas in Cornwall is just around the corner…

But after last Christmas revealed a shocking family secret, Scarlett’s hardly feeling merry and bright. All she wants this Christmas is to know who her real father is.

So Scarlett heads to the little Cornish town of Porthmellow, where she believes the truth of her birth is hidden. She just didn’t bargain on being drawn into the Christmas festival preparations – or meeting Jude Penberth, whose charm threatens to complicate life further.

Everything will come to a head at Porthmellow’s Christmas Festival … But can Scarlett have the perfect Christmas this year, or are there more surprises on the way?

Travel Guide

Discover fictional Porthmellow with Philippa Ashley

“The streets of Porthmellow were deserted as all the normal people of the Cornish harbour town prepared to enjoy Christmas lunch with their friends and families. In contrast, the windowpanes of the pub glowed with warmth and the sound of laughter and music drifted out onto the quayside.”

Although the village may be fictional, there’s some lovely places to visit when there such as the Smuggler’s Inn and Seaholly Manor. Oh and what about the harbour cafe? The map features Porthhallow as well, it’s very similar in name and there are many of the same facilities.

Sounds like the ideal place to spend anytime of year, not just Christmas!
