What you need to know before your trail

When Jessica Farris signs up for a psychology study conducted by the mysterious Dr Shields, she thinks all she’ll have to do is answer a few questions, collect her money and leave.

But as the questions grow more and more intense and invasive, and the sessions become outings where Jess is told what to wear and how to act, she begins to feel as though Dr Shields may know what she’s thinking . . . and what she’s hiding.

As Jess’s paranoia grows, it becomes clear that she can no longer trust what is real in her life, and what is one of Dr Shields’s manipulative experiments. Caught in a web of deceit and jealousy, Jess quickly learns that some obsessions can be deadly.

Travel Guide

Travel around New York City as An Anonymous Girl

This is a novel of locations dotted in and around the city of New York. Some are vague and where the experiment is taking place is of course one of them. Would you go and find it if it were real?

The streets and metro stations of the city help when Jess moves around the city going from one appointment to another in her job as make up artist.

The city acts like a maze and also as a secret cavern of tunnels as things get increasingly dark and you wonder if there is someone following you…well at least Jess does.

There are two nice places where you should go and even read this book – wouldn’t that be weird – the characters head to the Met Bruer museum and there a few meetings in West Village Conservatory which sounds nice.

Calm away from the story brewing in the city beyond.
