Annie moves from her busy life in London and moves to be with her great-aunt Alice, in Salt Bay. Even though there is zero phone signal and the locals – including the gorgeous but brooding Josh Pasco – can be decidedly grumpy at times, Annie starts to feel at home in Salt Bay.
Soon Annie’s love of music leads her to relaunch the Salt Bay Choral Society, and she’s surprised to see how just much the choir means to the community – and she even starts to break through Josh’s surly exterior… But London is calling Annie back, and she has to make a decision. Salt Bay, the choir or London?

Travel to Cornwall (Fictional Salt Bay)
The village is fictional sadly but is located in the south-west of Cornwall. The setting is also placed nicely as the area really does have a history of choral singing and imagine singing on the cliffs with the rugged sea below and the wind in your hair and then heading to find a nice Cornish cafe and a Cornish pie or two.
Cornwall is definitely the exact opposite location to London – warm, welcoming and very quiet and rural compared to the big smoke. Where else but Cornwall really fits the bill in the same way?
