They are noir stories, dark and sometimes more than a little twisted. Each story is by a different author and set in a different district of Barcelona. Some deal with the violent history of the city, and thus are directly tied to the city. Others are tales of love, or revenge, or defining moments in a characters life. As such, they could be set in other cities. They are all very well written; the editors did a great job.
