Jess is the only boy in his family for he has four sisters. However even if he is the middle child, he gets lumbered with all the chores and his sisters always tell him what to do.At school,life is not much better as she doesn’t really have a lot of friends.

He’s decided to give himself a challenge. This year he’s going to be the fastest kid in fifth grade. He practices all summer long but someone else wins the race and she’s a girl!!

Jess starts to make friends with her though and the two become inseparable. They decide to build a mythical land beside where they both live, in the woods,where they can escape to and be whatever they want to be. Where their imaginations can be set free. But this new land is not free from tragedy..
