Psychologist Alice Quentin discovers the body of a young woman beside one of London’s major landmarks – The glistening and impressive Shard. What strikes as particularly odd is the fact that the MO and other aspects of the killings look very similar to a case from years earlier
Alice gets further drawn into the investigation and she becomes more intrigued with the case thinking that there is something about this crime scene and the body that just isn’t right. When more bodies are found, Alice gets nervous and she is sure that the fact she is on the case is no accident.

Well you’re not going to see the sights you might expect on a tour of the city – more murder scenes and crime ridden streets but the sites you do see, such as the Shard and other landmarks, you’re going to see in a flash as Alice runs past many of them on her regular jogs. Not so much a part of the story but the backdrop to her running to clear her head and work out the next move in the case.
The Tower of London, itself a monument to murder across the centuries looms large from a car window:

The Crossbones Yard – is a Medieval paupers’ burial ground with a plaque and an iron memorial shrine gate hung with ribbons. The ideal place for a modern day murder scene!
