What you need to know before your trail

Alex is off on a trip around the world. Still grieving for his mother who he cared for in her final days, he sets off across the world, starting inIndonesia.

This is no paradise however as he is involved in a terrible crash from which he barely escapes with his life. He loses everything and so when a beautiful girl takes him under her wing, he goes thinking that at last his luck is changing.

But Domino is not all that she seems. Taking him to her home, a camp on the beautiful lake Toba, life seems like paradise. But paradise has a dark side..

Travel Guide

Lake Toba is a large natural lake occupying the caldera of a super volcano. It’s a huge and impressive natural feature and set in stunning landscape. Approx 100 kilometres long, 30 kilometres wide, and up to 505 metres deep, this is paradise on earth.

Or is it?

The Camp where Domino lives seems to be one of free spirits, charming company and a sense of freedom from the rest of the world. Life here is good, and the living as they say is easy.

I stared out at the water, the moon reflected on its calm surface. A slice of silver, resting on the lake beneath a clear sky of pinprick stars. A lake that stretched to infinity.never reaching its furthest shore.

But what happens when the island is less Paradise but more The Beach and a lot more like Lord of the Flies?

There are strange goings on in the camp and things lurking in the forest, people seem to be disappearing in the dead of night and why doesn’t the camp seem to get along with the villagers? Though this was paradise after all!

There. Up ahead. Something on the surface, a froth of white then nothing but black as the bubbles dissipated.

There is an overall sense of ease that this paradise could be something entirely different to what he is expecting…

“A place with no rules bar those of our own making, And yet I didn’t feel as if I were seeing the whole picture. There was a sense that I wasn’t not yet part of the community”
