What you need to know before your trail

A poignant and heartbreaking portrayal of the true story of courage and heroism during the 2ww. The story of the Danish people as they responded to the horror of what really happened and stood in defense of oppressed and hunted people is quite remarkable. They got together and stood against the tyranny of Hitler stating that they would not allow the Jews in Denmark to suffer the same fate as others across Europe.

“”The one condition necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing”.

Travel Guide

Denmark during the 2WW

Based on true facts, this story is part of Danish legend. Denmark, quite a small country had no real army to speak of and its borders hard to defend. But when the Nazis entered the city of Copenhagen they had not banked on the actions of the people of that country. The King also played a major part in defeating the nazis but this book looks at the people, the ordinary people who stood up in the face of danger and refused to send their people, their Jewish population to their deaths.

For such a small country to defend themselves in this way and to stand up against an international tyrant is quite remarkable. Apparently many Danish Jews were secreted away to Sweden with the help of the local citizens.
