What you need to know before your trail

Harmony is  a teenager and like most teenagers loves nothing but a bit of drama. So when a body is discovered by her aunt Mel on Evensand beach, she’s intrigued. Events take a stranger turn still when the naked, lifeless young woman turns out to still be alive. Barely clinging to life, she is unable to speak or remember where she came from. She is named Storm by her nurses.

Surrounded by doctors, psychiatrists and policemen, Storm remains silent. Harmony and Mel feel that it’s their responsibility to try and help the girl but they find out something altogether different. Rookie police officer Mason is also trying to work out the mystery.

Is this really a case of a damsel in distress or something else entirely?

Travel Guide

Yorkshire, Whitby

Evensand Beach, Brazen Point and the Bay – all fictional but close to Whitby as this is where the ambulance crew comes from to see to the girl on the beach. There doesn’t seem much for teenagers to do round here as when a body is found on the beach, there is some excitement  at the find and shockingly disappointment when it turns out she’s still alive.

The landscape to the novel is one of empty beaches, lonely coves and rough seas so not the place you’d be happy as a teenager like those in the novel. The Cover of the book looks grey and grim and this is the feel of the novel’s setting.

In real life, Whitby and the Yorkshire coastline are some of the most stunning and scenic in the UK!
