2000s: A gruesome link emerges between Cairngorms and Stavanger
A forensic scientist is never really on holiday is she? Certainly not Rhona who joins a mountain rescue team on Cairngorm summit where a mysterious plane has crash-landed on the frozen Loch A’an. Linked to the story via Rhona and the team of course. The city reveals a very dark secret inside one of its clubs and has a link to the Cairngorms as this is where the walkers are originally from.
Norwegian detective Alvis Olsen harbours disturbing theories about how the two cases are connected with his homeland. This is his city, a vibrant city but one which has made its wealth via the oil. A city which is linked to Scotland quite literally by the Stavanger-Inverness sea corridor.
