From a happy home life in Howth County Dublin, Francesca’s trip to Dublin airport that sunny morning will take her places she really doesn’t want to go. Dublin airport is the sign of happiness for her as its where she and husband Mark have taken many a trip to places such as Cork where they have holidayed and stayed in a special hotel.
But memories are bittersweet and for a woman who has to build new ones, there is a need to visit old places and to lay old ghosts to rest.
Howth Pier
She was shocked at coming down to earth and reality with such a bang. She drove to Howth Pier, parked and set off on brisk walk with Trixie. She might think of throwing herself off the end of the pier but she doesn’t – instead taking her thoughts and turning them into something a lot more constructive instead.
Howth Summit
As her troubles and worries grow, she puts in her wellies and heads off the summit for a strong and brisk walk, This is a woman on a mission and as the thoughts over what to do swim for their lives, she tries to imagine her new life. Husband Mark and Nikki seem reluctant to let her do so however. how the tables turn!
Cork
Symbolic for the turn of events as Francesca heads out here to confront the truth. A journey back to when she and Mark were happy and a frenzied journey that you wont hesitate to wish him well on.
Portugal
Even the most confident woman needs a break at sometime and for Francesca her trip to Casa Velha near Faro in Portugal gives her the time and space to see what her future holds.
