All of the locations and the furniture store itself are fictional but there are a few places to inspire you in the booktrail. Once you’ve read this you’l be pleased it’s not real anyway.
Some people would say that a visit to a furniture store or any store is a nightmare in itself so imagine the poor staff who are terrorised by what is going on in their shop! They see no other solution as to solving the mystery of the destroyed furniture and the vandalism than to have a stake out over night to see if they can find the culprit and unravel the mystery. It’s a disturbing thought that someone is coming in and destroying things in this way, invading their space and workspace.
A ghost story is usually set in an old house, an abandoned place or even in the middle of the woods, but you may never go shopping again!
