What you need to know before your trail

Mayfair, 1905. The grandest house on Park Lane has just dismissed its housekeeper.

All manner of treasures lie behind the pillared doors – and scandalous secrets too. With the event of the season looming, nothing must go wrong.

But what no one knows is that Mrs King will be back at Park Lane on the night of the ball. She has an audacious plan in mind… and knows just who to recruit to help her clean up.

Housekeeper. Sewing maid. Kitchen girl. Thief.

Never underestimate the women downstairs.

IT’S YOUR HOUSE. BUT IT’S THEIR RULES.

Travel Guide

London’s Park Lane

You can only imagine what this iconic street looked like back in 1905 when the novel is set. The house in the book is fictional but it’s located at 25 Park Lane which is a posh housing complex today. You can imagine what it looked like then. Imagining the goings on you read about in the novel happening right here is very exciting!

There’s something very eerie about big old houses with empty, spacious rooms and the housekeepers who are hardly seen but you know they are there.

Rich Park Lane and some dark goings on behind closed doors.
