Kabukichō
The novel opens near the station and the night club which is fictional is somewhere in the famous red light area.
Located in Shinjuku, this district is known as Asia’s largest red-light district. It’s home to many host and hostess clubs, love hotels, restaurants, shops, and nightclubs. Kabukichō is also known as the “Sleepless Town” and is near several major railway and subway stations.
