Twin Cities

The areas of St Paul’s and Minneapolis is commonly known as ‘ the cities’ or the ‘Twin cities’. Minneapolis–Saint Paul is built around the Mississippi, Minnesota and St. Croix rivers. Minneapolis has the largest population in Minnesota, and Saint Paul is the state capital. But never mind the geography for this is a foodie booktrail :

If your idea of fun is discovering the cuisines and flavours of  the American /midwest, then this is the book and travel guide and book of recipes for you! Chapters headed by names of food. Lutefisk, Chocolate Habanero oh and those Pat Prager’s bars. And then there’s this roadmap of flavours;

Minneapolis was heavily influenced by its early Scandinavian  heritage in particular and the story of the Lutefisk more than showcases this in history of the food and traditions themselves.
