There’s a mention of a rather wonderful bookshop though! – Edge of the World Books
What is important is the inside of the characters homes, their heads and their darkest thoughts. Vague locations work for this novel as what matters is what actions the characters think about and what they do. Much of the story is internal dialogue and watching someone from the side lines which makes it very claustrophobic and creepy in places when you’re with the characters.
Wherever you live, there are people you just can’t trust.
