Mr Chicken becomes Monsieur Poulet in this little story
Mr Chicken has read about the city of PAris for years so when he gets to go, he more than ruffles his feathers! of course they speak French in Paris, so he takes a list of words he should know and changes his name to Monsieur Poulet as this is his name in French.
He arrives by plane (chickens can’t fly that far – they need an airplane for longer journeys) and before you know it, he’s riding around Paris on an open top bus. Seeing the sights like any good chicken should, he wanders around the city with his friend and they visit the lovely tourist places such as the Eiffel Tower. They also eat – well Paris is one of the best cities in the world for good food. And France itself is known for it.
But Mr Chicken eats rather too much and seems to get bigger as his time in the city goes on. Suddenly he seems rather too large to fit on the plane home. How will he get back home?
Monsieur Poulet’s Guide to Paris:
Charles de Gaulle Airport – Frequented by Chickens who fly to Paris it would seem
Eiffel Tower – Mr Chicken flies past here on the cover
Élysée Palace – The chief chicken in Paris sits here who has all the power. There is probably a golden egg or two as decoration.
Notre Dame – You will really get a wonderful bird’s eye view of this iconic place through the eyes of Mr Chicken!
