2000s: Bamford is not the quiet village you think it is.
2000s: Bamford is not the quiet village you think it is.
Bamford – a quiet little Cotswold village. Well that is until there’s somewhat of an uproar over the news that the old Victorian landmark, Springwood Hall, is being turned into an up-market country hotel. How dare they! This modern hotel will also offer food and there’s a celebrity chef coming in quite literally to stir things up.
Hope Mapple, speaking for the Society for the Preservation of Historic Bamford, expresses her outrage as only a a villager can by streaking the gala opening party.
Protests are nothing however when someone finds a body in the wine cellar
Bamford is– a village in the Cotswolds but in reality a village in the Derbyshire Peak District. So a bonus really as you can explore both locations for the price of one.
Both rural and remote locations amongst the most stunningly beautiful areas in the UK
Bamford is described as a market town, a small, quiet place with ramshackle friendly streets.
Not so quiet in Bamford now!
