Travel Guide

The Cotswolds

The house here is a great estate in the Cotswolds

It lay in typical Cotswold Country hilly yet gloriously open It was partly wooded, had a dashing strem and aoffrere some shooting and the chance of going out with the local hunt.

Great slopes brooded dreamily upon their lost summer treasure fof wheat, clover and barley; little by-roads sloped quietly up or down to Coberley Elkstone, Brimpsfield and Compton Abdale.
