Molly Sutton’s B&B is jam-packed for the holiday, but whatever romance is in the air is quickly snuffed out when somebody turns up dead.
In addition to worrying that one of her remaining guests is a killer, Molly’s not feeling tip-top and spends more time napping than sleuthing. That’s no way to catch a murderer!
“Castillac was a large village with a weekly market and a lively square. It had the orange-tiled rooftops, narrow street and ancient stone buildings she love so, but no particular attraction like a chateau or a cathedral, so while a few tourist would be drawn to its quiet charm, the streets were not deluged with visitors, which Molly though might get tiresome if you live there full time.”
Molly’s move to France had turned out even better than her wildest dreams as she loves her village and has some very good friends. She’s been sleuthing for quite a while now and so has got to know a lot of the village’s comings and goings.
Places around the village…
The village has many places to hang out in, if only it were real – there’s a bar called Chez Papa, and the whole place has the flavour of a typical Dordogne village. Molly’s gite La Baranque is growing and now has three new guest rooms in a formerly dilapidated wing of the main house where she lived. The cafe in the village, Chez Papa has become her second home.
